Comments: I am the former manager of K-LOVE and Air1 radio in Southern
California. I am currently the (acting) Director of Business Development for
KSGN, 89.7, Family Friendly Radio in the Inland Empire. I have known Mark and
Janice Logan for several years. I have worked with them as a peer manager on the
Steering Committee of Christian Camping International, I have worked for Mark as
the President of that Committee, and I have met with him on several occasions
and prayed with him (Mark) and for him about issues in his life and work. When
God made Mark, He threw away the mold. He is a one of a kind person and manager.
He is a strong leader but very teachable. He is compassionate and really wants
to make a Godly difference in his life and work. I would not hesitate to
recommend Oak Glen as a camp of choice to anyone seeking a safe, exciting,
location for their church, business, or family retreat.

Comments: I grew up going to camp. As far as I know, I started going when I was
4. I'm 31 now and have 3 boys of my own. I hope they get to experience all the
wonderful times I did there. The first time I saw it actually snow, was there.
Mark Logan was the youth Pastor at our church (Downey Free Methodist) back in
the day. It's so peaceful there. I remember every time I went, I was on such a
spiritual high I didn't want to go home. I tried to go to as many camps as I
could get away with. In one year I'd try to go to junior camp winter and summer,
junior high winter and summer camp, and family camp.
It felt like home. I hope to return
someday soon.

Long time-no see... I grew up at Oak Glen - camps (3rd grade through college,
family camps, women's retreats, working in the kitchen, living on the grounds in
my family's cabin, Indian Village and camp counseling, Armpit Olympics, camp
directing, etc.).
Oak Glen was where I made some significant spiritual decisions. It is also where
I experienced such great life adventures and made wonderful lifelong friends. I

Comments: Our church held a thanksgiving family camp last November and everyone
in our group enjoyed the place. The kids loved the snow, the youth loved the
gym, the food was great. We have been to many camp sites before and this is the
best we've been so far. We will be back next year. Thanks a million to Kathy for
all her help in accomodating our needs. Our group loved the testimony of John
(how he met the Lord at WW2 in the Philippines while being attacked by Japanese
war planes).

I want to say hi because I went to this camp for 2 years and it is amazing!
Every time I look at my t-shirts, I get sad, I remember the games, the food, the
cabins, the chapels, and swimming. My counselor was Melanie of 1997-1998 and my
cousin Gail. I came with LA Second Free Methodist Church, I took a tour of the
camp a couple minutes ago and I cried when I saw the chapel and the cafeteria --
it is the same and amazing as before. I'm only 13 1/2 but I have so many
memories of my childhood, good, bad, and in between, but I thank CLC camp for
making 1997-1998 one of the best times in my life. I'm always here to say
something good about this camp because everyone is amazing!

Comments: Mark Logan- what a blast from the past. God has been good to me and my
family. I only wish we had some mountains and a camp like Oak Glen. I so enjoyed
working there with Earl and the gang. My kids hear stories and laugh when I tell
them. Remember Don Rogers, Earl Morgan and Zeke. The memories I have of Oak Glen
will live in my heart forever. I'll never forget Armpit Olympics and the King &

We often come to visit, but usually stay in Rykman or another trailer close to mom and
papa. When we stayed in Pine G for Thanksgiving Family Camp and both James and
Ashley said "Wow! This is like going to camp!" Usually it wasn't
camp but, just going to Grandpa & Grandma's, where they have a playground, a gym, a
schedule of events and lots of familiar faces. That made me laugh,:) I had taken for
granted what a wonderful place "Camp" is, having grown up visiting at least
twice a year and then living there! So, "Camp" for the rest of my family
had a very unique definition, one that made me smile and brought back the joy of driving
up the mountain in a big bus with a bunch of other kids for a weekend away, one we would

What a great place to get away from the city, without going too far away. I love spending time at Oak Glen. The fellowship is always terrific, the worship and teaching are life-changing, the surroundings can't be beat, and if you're really lucky, you might come face to face with a stuffed bobcat or dead owl in a cage.
